About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join our growing team. This is a critical, high-impact role where the ideal candidate will bring strong estimating fundamentals, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to grow within a flexible, family-oriented organization. The projects you will estimate typically range from $50,000 to $1 million.

Requirements

HVAC estimating experience on commercial projects ranging from $50K to $1M.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, load calculations, and mechanical designs.
Experience using estimating software or comparable platforms.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Vendor and subcontractor pricing coordination and negotiation.
Collaboration with engineers on drawings, design intent, and code compliance.
Proposal development and bid management.
Strong organizational skills and ability to transition awarded jobs to Project Managers.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate HVAC estimates and proposals for commercial projects typically ranging from $50K to $1M.
Reach out to vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times.
Perform load calculations and review project specifications.
Conduct jobsite walkthroughs as needed to support accurate estimates.
Collaborate with engineers on drawings, design intent, and code compliance.
Prepare and present detailed proposals to internal stakeholders.
Transition awarded projects to Project Managers to ensure a smooth handoff.
Support continuous improvement of estimating tools, processes, and systems.
