About The Position

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a tool and die manufacturer.

Requirements

• Engineering degree preferred, not required. (experience outweighs the degree).
• Experience within a job shop or machine shop environment.
• 3+ years of experience with purchasing, quoting, planning, and working with engineering teams
• 3+ years of experience within tool shops or gaining familiarity with tooling.
• Ability to read blueprint tolerancing and GTD is a must
• Knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical controls required
• 3D Solidworks experience is required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales on making estimates and quotes for customers
• Review statement-of-work and request-for-proposals in depth, noting customer standards that are required.
• Generate questions for customers and work with management to clarify all details.
• Work with shop personnel, engineering teams (controls) and mechanical design teams to develop a concept in 3D CAD or a sketch.
• Work with suppliers for pricing and delivery times on components needed for the project
• Collect information on cost data and previous quotes
• Analyze blueprints, CAD files and other documentation to prepare labor and material estimates
