Requirements

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Report writing and strategic planning skills.
  • Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects
  • Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with project management.
  • Prepare bills of material and other information for use by purchasing
  • Compare various project documents for accuracy and consistency as well as data entry.
  • Perform field take-offs/evaluations for estimate preparation.
  • Participate in estimate review process with internal and external stake holders.
  • Assist construction personnel throughout the project life cycle in tracking and understanding cost estimates.
  • Preparation and submission of change orders
  • Follow-up at the end of projects to close any loops in the estimating process to include invoicing and cost tracking.
  • Other duties as assigned.
