The Estimator will be responsible for supporting the Senior Estimator in various pre-construction activities, including managing bid lists, issuing invitations, communicating with subcontractors, preparing RFIs, reviewing contract documents, performing quantity take-offs, and leveling subcontractor proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Create project bid list on Procore for Senior Estimator to review
  • Prepare bid invitation on Procore and issue to selected subcontractor
  • Call invited subcontractors to confirm bid invitation was received and their interest on providing a proposal
  • Create pre-bid RFIs for Senior estimator to review, and issue to design team and distribute RFI responses to subcontractors
  • Review contract documents and ensure all subcontractor trades are accounted for
  • Verify all bid documents have been received, stamp and upload to Procore
  • Perform quantity take-offs and square foot analysis and present in an organized manner
  • Create subcontractor bid scopes of work
  • Review subcontractor proposals and level out the subcontractor proposals
