About The Position

Pattison ID - We design, build and maintain physical spaces and facilities for
brands that want to use their physical spaces to drive value and impact for
customers. We are one of the largest companies in our space, with 8
manufacturing facilities, 5 sales and operations offices and over 1,000
employees in the US and Canada.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of estimating experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proposal experience with knowledge of cost estimating and RFP process
• Internal candidates who have demonstrated at least 3 years relevant skills and performance may be considered without meeting the 3-year estimating and proposal experience requirement.
• Proficient with Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook and Excel a must
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent math skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Sign Industry background is preferred
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• General construction background helpful
• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, electrical assembly, sign service and sign installation is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints helpful

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing the overall sign cost for each type of sign.
• Prepares estimates from provided drawings, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying drawings, blueprints, specifications, and related documents; Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Construct estimate, in digital estimating forms, all labor, all material components and component pricing.
• Communicate with the applicable departments to meet required deadlines for customer quotes
