About The Position

We are seeking an Estimator experienced in electrical contracting and construction. The ideal candidate will develop accurate, competitive estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, helping guide project planning and ensuring profitability.

Requirements

Experience in estimating for electrical contracting, construction, or related industries.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and construction documents.
Proficiency with estimating and project management software, plus Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of industry standards, electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality practices.
Experience with commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

Review project specifications, blueprints, and scopes to develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Prepare and submit competitive bids, accounting for risk, contingencies, and profit margins.
Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes; negotiate pricing and terms for maximum value.
Monitor historical project costs and market trends to validate and benchmark estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
Identify potential risks or scope gaps and recommend solutions.
