About The Position

JRC, Inc. is a nationwide construction company headquartered in Greenbrier, Tennessee. With projects in 48 states, we're expanding our team and seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join us at our Corporate Office. No sales required - just your expertise. Relocation to the Nashville area is required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial roofing estimating, both low slope and steep slope.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial roofing systems.
• Proficiency in project take-offs and reading roofing plans/specifications.
• Experience with Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff and Pictometry

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive and accurate bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Generate timely cost estimates for commercial roofing construction projects.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, pricing, and regulations to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
• Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate project opportunities and create clear scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Transition awarded bids to the Production team to ensure efficient project launch and execution.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and partners to gather necessary information and meet project requirements.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings as needed.
