Estimating Internship Kraus-Anderson Construction Company’s Estimating Internship program offers ambitious college students the opportunity to put their knowledge and skills to work in the real world of commercial construction. The Estimating Internship provides students interested in pursuing a career track in Preconstruction/Estimating an opportunity to learn the role. Consideration for full-time employment is contingent on the completion of the program, the quality of work produced, and the amount of interest displayed by the intern. The Estimating mentor will provide direction, support and encourage Interns to develop an understanding of the responsibilities associated with the internship assignment. Estimating Interns will be exposed to the following duties as well as accomplish the following goals: Summary: Exposure and experience to the process in which KA delivers construction projects. Universal Goals and Duties: Develop an understanding of the responsibilities of a Preconstruction Manager or Estimator Gain exposure to estimating and preconstruction methods and terminology
