IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR AN ESTIMATING INTERN POSITION TYPE: Full-Time/Part-Time, Hourly LOCATION: Sacramento, CA WAGE SCALE: $20.00-$22.00 COMPANY: Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc. (Alcal) is a subsidiary of Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc. a family owned business since 1953. Alcal is a large specialty contractor, privately held and diversified that has operated continuously since 1971. Installed products include roofing, waterproofing, insulation, firestop, and garage doors for both commercial and residential construction. Requirements

• Go-getter who is ready to start a career and grow
• Must be attending school or a recent graduate
• Must have valid CA Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Assisting Estimator with variety of duties
• Research various sources for potential projects for bidding
• Prepare and submitting bids by reading blueprints, take offs and estimating
• Reading blueprints
• Correspond with General Contractors as necessary to complete projects
• Visit job sites and consults with Superintendents
• Other duties as assigned.
