At DCI Marketing, we design and build high-impact dealership environments (millwork, fixtures, graphics, digital displays, furniture, and full facility renovations) for the world’s top automotive brands. This role sits at the center of our sales and project teams: you’ll create accurate, competitive, and beautifully presented budgets and proposals that help us win automotive showroom projects.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas)
  • Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections)
  • Experience navigating drawings and pulling dimensions accurately using AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Strong grasp of conceptual estimating and cost-control principles
  • Ability to write clear, professional proposal documents with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain inclusions/exclusions confidently
  • Natural multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with sales, design, and project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • 2+ years of estimating or project management experience in millwork, fixtures, or construction
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar takeoff software

  • Previous work in automotive dealerships, retail environments, or branded spaces

Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity take-offs from architectural floor plans, elevations, and finish schedules
  • Build detailed, professional proposals for millwork packages, furniture, graphics, and digital signage projects
  • Maintain and improve quoting templates and cost databases
  • Collaborate with our sales team to review scopes, clarify requirements, and secure client approvals
  • Prepare proposal letters, qualifications, clarifications, and exclusions
  • Support operations teams with project hand-off and kick-off meetings
  • Occasionally assist with change orders, special requests, and pricing updates on live projects
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, architects, general contractors, and our internal teams
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring the highest possible customer satisfaction
  • Understand in detail dealer facility renovations and construction projects
  • Represent DCI on construction kick off meetings with customers and general contractors
  • Communicate with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
