About The Position

FD Thomas is seeking an Estimating Coordinator for our corporate office. Requirements

Strong organizational and time management skills
2+ years of experience as an estimating coordinator within the construction industry
Experience coordinating and supervising processes to provide support to department
Comfortable learning and adapting to new technology
Excellent communicator and collaborative team player
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Proactive, solution-oriented, and flexible

Responsibilities

Coordinate the entire estimating process by organizing bid documents, specifications, and drawings.
Prepare and maintain bid schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and submissions are complete.
Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to request pricing, clarify scope, and confirm details.
Review and verify cost data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across proposals.
Assist estimators with take-offs and quantity calculations when needed.
Track and update project information in estimating software and internal systems.
Compile and format final bid packages, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
Support team collaboration by facilitating meetings, distributing updates, and maintaining clear documentation.
