The Esthetician administers professional facials, waxing services and other esthetic services to guests. They must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in the spa’s specific facial treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of guests. They must hold and maintain a current state license. The role requires punctuality, consistent professional treatment delivery, flexibility with scheduling to support spa needs, proper equipment care, and product usage for cost control. Estheticians are expected to have complete knowledge of all services and products, educate guests, actively promote home care programs to meet retail sales goals, and uphold sanitation standards. They perform prep work, clean and restock rooms, communicate staff or guest occurrences to management, actively promote spa offerings, handle guest questions professionally, and provide immediate responses to ensure satisfaction. The position requires the ability to work without direct supervision, maintain a positive attitude, contribute to a quality work environment, and regularly attend and participate in training and staff meetings. Enthusiasm, excellent customer service skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and being a team player are essential.
