Estate Planning Partner
About The Position
Based in Los Angeles, we are one of the countryâs leading full-service law firms. We service a group of select clients ranging from start-ups to large global corporations. We are currently seeking experienced candidates for Estate Planning Partner. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with private clients in developing long-term estate planning strategies, including drafting relevant documents for a range of estates, handling all aspects of the probate process, including post-mortem estate and tax planning and the preparation of estate tax returns and trust and estate income tax returns. Candidates should also have experience advising institutional clients, closely-held and/or charitable organizations with regard to the legal and tax administration.
Requirements
- 8+ years Estate Planning experience
- JD from an ABA-approved law school, State Bar of California
- Existing book of business (500k) and ability to engage new business
Responsibilities
- working with private clients in developing long-term estate planning strategies
- drafting relevant documents for a range of estates
- handling all aspects of the probate process, including post-mortem estate and tax planning
- preparation of estate tax returns and trust and estate income tax returns
- advising institutional clients, closely-held and/or charitable organizations with regard to the legal and tax administration
