ESS Daytime Waiver Part-Time Certified Interventionist (Overdale Elementary)
About The Position
Overdale Elementary School is seeking an ESS Day-Time Waiver Instructional Interventionist to provide one-on-one and small group services to struggling students in grades K-5. Part-time, 3 hours/day position (40 instructional days). Starts in Spring of 2026. Our expectations are that the Interventionist will have a strong background in literacy and math. In addition, this individual will be expected to collaborate with classroom teachers, instructional coach, and school leadership on the identification and analysis of student achievement. Retired educators are encouraged to apply. Candidate must have a Kentucky Elementary Certification and possess all other requirements according to BCPS. Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2025-2026 school year. Position is for the 2025-2026 school year only. NOTICE OF POSSIBLE WAIVER: To expedite the hiring for this position, the district may apply for a waiver to prevent disruption of necessary instructional or support services (KRS 160.380).
Requirements
- Strong background in literacy and math
