Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School, a St. Louis Archdiocesan coeducational college preparatory high school serving grades 9–12, seeks a dynamic and innovative Esports Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach in an urban, college‑preparatory environment and possess strong academic and technological expertise. Missouri State Teaching Certification is preferred (Master’s degree preferred). The employed person is expected to: Articulate and uphold the policies, procedures, mission, and vision of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis and Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School. Design and deliver a standards‑based Esports curriculum aligned with college‑ and career‑readiness goals. Teach strategic gameplay analysis, teamwork, communication, leadership, and ethical digital behavior. Integrate project‑based learning connected to game design, streaming, broadcasting, analytics, coding, or digital marketing. Foster academic accountability and maintain eligibility requirements for student participants. Manage classroom technology, gaming equipment, and software responsibly. Utilize instructional technology, Google applications, and the school’s online student data systems. Maintain a classroom culture that promotes sportsmanship, discipline, collaboration, and critical thinking. Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to the vocation of teaching and strong collaboration skills with colleagues and administrators.
