About The Position

The Arizona Department of Revenue (AZDOR) is seeking an eServices Management Analyst 3 to support the Taxpayer Services division. This role focuses on analyzing and improving eServices programs, policies, and business processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. The analyst will work closely with internal business teams, IT, and external vendors while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position is primarily remote , with occasional in-office days required in Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of management or business analysis experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in tax-related services, administration, government, or regulatory environments
  • Experience providing customer service or technical support
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience analyzing business programs, policies, and processes
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
  • Arizona local candidates only
  • Must be available for in-person interviews within one week of posting close
  • Must be able to start within two weeks of offer

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with XML (Altova XMLSpy preferred)
  • QA testing experience
  • SQL (MS SQL Server Management Studio) experience
  • Azure DevOps experience
  • Experience working with vendors and automated systems

Responsibilities

  • Analyze eServices programs, policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added process steps
  • Gather and document business and operational requirements
  • Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors
  • Support internal and external customers; resolve service issues
  • Perform QA testing and assist with system validation
  • Prepare reports, surveys, and management studies
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership
  • Support compliance with tax laws, regulations, and agency policies
  • Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop documentation, manuals, and training materials
