About The Position

The Assembler will support the assembly of product according to the required specifications and processes, ensuring all products are made safely, with the highest quality and in an efficient manner.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
Mechanically inclined with previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related field
Familiar with assembly tools and equipment
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be authorized to work in the US
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
While performing duties of the job, employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
Shop floor working environment
Noise level is minimal with intervals of spikes
Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the production floor

Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical documents-including work instructions and bills of material -to properly assemble product.
Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, machinery, or automated equipment. Work to close tolerances on intricate small assembly work.
Perform quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet specifications. Verify proper test specifications and test products to assure predetermined quality standards are met when applicable.
Pack product for shipment or storage following quality and safety standards when applicable.
Record production data, including quantities assembled and downtime. Notify leader of defective materials or faulty operations.
Ensure protocols and processes - including but limited to grounding, equipment checks and dedicated work locations - are followed to maintain ESD lab requirements.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and resolve assembly issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace; adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols.
Aid in maintaining proper flow within the work cell. Operate as a team player at prescribed performance levels consistent with quality.
Perform necessary transactions in ERP system to maintain accurate inventory.
Other duties as assigned.
