JOB SUMMARY The Escrow Support Supervisor oversees the day‑to‑day operations of a centralized escrow support team responsible for executing critical escrow and title support functions that enable timely, accurate, and compliant closings. This specific role has primary responsibility for pre‑closing activities, ensuring files are progressing efficiently through the pre-closing workflow and that transactions meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and builder timelines. This position functions as a working supervisor, combining hands‑on operational support with people leadership and workflow oversight. The Supervisor provides guidance, coaching, and direction to ensure productivity, quality, and consistency within a fast‑paced, production‑oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Notary Public required
  • Resident License may be required
  • 3+ years of experience in title and escrow operations.
  • Experience supporting residential real estate transactions, preferably in builder-affiliated title environments.
  • Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of settlement statements, escrow workflows, title commitments, and closing readiness requirements.
  • High level of organization and time management in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) to support workflow management, reporting, and daily operations.
  • Ability to manage high transaction volumes in a centralized production environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with workflow automation or exception-based processing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a centralized team of Escrow Support professionals supporting escrow and title operations across multiple markets.
  • Serve as a working supervisor by supporting production work while overseeing team execution and workflow progress.
  • Monitor queues, pipelines, and workload distribution to ensure service levels, turn times, and productivity targets are met.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and real-time support to team members to resolve operational challenges.
  • Ensure workload distribution and productivity targets are balanced across the team.
  • Partner with branch escrow teams, title teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues that may impact closing timelines.
  • Oversee pre‑closing workflows to ensure files are progressing efficiently toward closing readiness.
  • Provide supervisory oversight of preliminary settlement statement (PSS) preparation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards and timelines.
  • Review and resolve complex or exception‑based pre‑closing scenarios requiring escalated support.
  • Drive standardization of pre‑closing processes across markets to reduce rework and closing delays.
  • Support implementation and ongoing management of workflow automation and exception-based processing within pre‑closing functions.
  • Monitor automation exception queues and ensure timely manual review when required.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, peers, and leadership.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development to ensure consistency and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop team members to strengthen technical capabilities and leadership readiness.
  • Lead the team through operational changes, process improvements, and technology adoption initiatives.
  • Monitor quality and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to enhance workflow efficiency, standardization, and scalability.
  • Support documentation of processes and operational best practices.
  • Promote operational discipline and adherence to standardized procedures across the team
