We’re looking for an experienced Escrow Officer who can operate confidently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of transactions from open to close - balancing precision, compliance, and customer experience. You’ll serve as the central point of coordination for all parties, ensuring smooth, compliant, and timely closings.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of escrow experience (direct transaction handling strongly preferred)
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple channels (phone, email, in-person)
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Tech-savvy mindset with openness to adopting new tools and systems
  • A customer-first approach with a professional, solutions-oriented attitude
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to mentor and support others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary systems quickly
  • Active state licensing/certification as required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Background as an Escrow Assistant or similar role is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage escrow transactions end-to-end, from opening to final disbursement
  • Act as a neutral liaison between buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure all funds are accurately received, tracked, and disbursed per contract terms and company policy
  • Review and interpret property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documentation
  • Prepare and process closing documents and settlement statements
  • Monitor timelines, proactively resolve issues, and mitigate risk
  • Record and file closing documents; distribute final title and settlement packages
  • Provide clear, timely updates to all parties throughout the transaction lifecycle
