About The Position

Regional Facilities functional leader responsible for the oversight and delivery of all aspects of ES Facilities Management and infrastructure operations for geographically dispersed, multiple use, owned and/or leased facilities and real estate assets located in the assigned region. Provide leadership and management oversight in the areas of functional expertise, business acumen, incident command, problem solving, interpersonal skills, negotiation, and project management to meet the needs of the businesses within the assigned region. Foster strategic relationships with Functional, Business Area and Site Executive Leadership to connect the Facilities function to the business (and visa-versa) and support the needs of the Business Areas in the assigned region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (such as Mechanical, Software or Electrical Engineering) and ten (10) years of related technical experience.
  • Functional knowledge of Facilities infrastructure systems, construction practices, legal, human resources, emergency response, SHE compliance, indirect procurement, contracts and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of how Facilities Management impacts the business operations and work flow.
  • Must be able to influence at all functional and business area levels to benefit the enterprise.
  • Must and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Must possess critical thinking skills required to assess diverse and complex situations with far reaching impacts to site operations and business continuity. Must be able to think and communicate conceptually and develop innovation solutions to a wide variety of situations and events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple department expense and capital budgets for a region of geographic sites to ensure budget allocations are met. Develop corrective action and mitigation plans to achieve operating targets and challenges.
  • Provide oversight and evaluation of building envelope, plant systems and infrastructure equipment condition and replacement priorities for a region of geographic sites. Develop and maintain a five (5) year facility capital plan for assigned facilities. Execute annual facilities capital projects to minimize business disruptions.
  • Provide leadership to ensure compliance with company policies, local, state and federal regulatory agency and code requirements for a region of geographic sites. Interact with local departments and agencies including police, fire, public works and building departments.
  • Ensure active engagement of site leadership in support of strategic alignment and achievement of Safety and Business Sustainability programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Site Executives, Business Area and Functional senior management to determine and manage space requirements for a region of geographic sites. Coordinate the successful planning and execution of major moves and plant rearrangements involving the deployment of personnel, furniture and equipment assets.
  • Perform in the capacity of the alternate Incident Commander during Facilities -led emergency incidents and provide technical interface with internal leadership and external emergency response, municipal agencies, and representatives for a region of geographic sites.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to managers that direct Facilities engineering, maintenance, custodial personnel and contractors performing facility related services for a region of geographic sites.
  • Manage, select, train, develop and evaluate exempt and non-exempt Facilities personnel in accordance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies that will provide a high state-of-readiness to meet customer needs and expectations across many functions, programs and business areas.
  • Negotiate and influence to meet the needs of the business. Negotiations may include other business leaders, other functions, service providers, community members, regulators and municipal responders.
  • Lead and manage teams at multiple sites in a geographic region toward the successful completion of projects and business initiatives involving significant capital and expense investment.
