About this Position / Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for ERP systems (e.g., Banner, Salesforce, Peoplesoft, Workday) Align ERP initiatives with university priorities, operational needs, and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with administrative departments (Finance, HR, Registrar, Procurement) to gather requirements and feedback. Translate business needs into technical specifications and product features. Project Management Lead ERP-related projects including upgrades, module implementations, and integrations. Manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. System Optimization Monitor system performance, user adoption, and data integrity. Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhanced reporting. Governance & Compliance Ensure ERP systems comply with university policies and external regulations (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA, financial reporting standards). Support audits, data governance initiatives, and risk management efforts. Vendor & Technology Management Manage relationships with ERP vendors and consultants. Evaluate new technologies and modules to enhance ERP capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP product management, business systems analysis, or enterprise application support.
  • Strong understanding of ERP platforms (e.g., Banner, Salesforce, Peoplesoft, Workday) and university administrative processes.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, PMP, Jira).
  • PMP Certification
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in higher education or public sector ERP environments.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and APIs.
  • Knowledge of business process mapping and change management.
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design in enterprise systems.
