What we are looking for: Pivotal Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our credit union client through an ERP system evaluation and selection initiative. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation skills to guide the organization in defining requirements, assessing vendors, and preparing for modernization of its core business processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology or business transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP evaluation or implementation (Workday, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise functions such as finance, procurement, HR, and payroll.
  • Skilled in process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline (MBA or CBAP a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with finance, HR, IT, and operations leaders to document current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define and validate business and technical requirements aligned with the credit union’s growth and compliance objectives.
  • Support development of RFPs/RFIs and assist in creating vendor evaluation criteria and scoring models.
  • Facilitate vendor demos, stakeholder workshops, and feedback sessions to ensure decision alignment.
  • Conduct fit-gap and readiness analyses to inform final ERP recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Pivotal’s project managers, solution architects, and client leadership to ensure clear communication and documentation throughout the selection lifecycle.
  • Prepare executive-level deliverables and presentations summarizing findings, analysis, and recommendations.
