About The Position

ERP App Development Specialist II in GAC Savannah Unique Skills: Exciting opportunity within ERP Business Technology department for a talented Full Stack Application Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web and application solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the entire technology stack—from working directly with our customers and building user interfaces to coding backend services / databases. Our ideal candidate will either be experienced with traditional web applications / portal development or be experienced with SAP Fiori and ABAP development. Also, the preferred candidate should be flexible to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies. Preferred skills: Experience developing both front-end and back-end applications Proficiency in one or more front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, jQuery, Datatables, Bootstrap) Proficiency in one or more back-end languages or frameworks (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, SAP ABAP, SAP CDS) Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA) Experience in SAP Fiori development (Standard, App extensions and Custom apps), SAPUI5 and Fiori tools CLI Additional (Nice to have) skills Experience with Liferay DXP or SAP Commerce (Hybris) Familiarity with DevOps / CI-CD platform (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins) Programming experience with CDS views and OData service development Experience with REST and SOAP web services. Position Purpose : This is an application development role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the ERP team. This role directly supports the suite of Gulfstream ERP applications. Responsible for developing code in support of new application functionality or defect remediation according to design specifications.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.
10 years of experience as an IT professional with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines which includes five (5) years specific ERP development / deployment experience.
Experience developing both front-end and back-end applications

Responsibilities

Creates plans according to schedules and assignments, and acts independently to carry them out.

Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
Performs work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading ERP applications and processes.
Responsible for tasks related to the development and deployment of systems, methodologies, standards and processes that result in the ability to create and manage the ERP solution.
Supports management in recruiting, hiring, and career development.
Assists with the development of work breakdown structures, project plans, and skills required. to develop and implement applications.
Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports application code in support of business requirements.
Independently prepares requirements, specifications, and business process map with minimal supervision.
Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities.
Ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings.
Serves as technical expert in one or more applications within a portfolio.
Demonstrates innovation, foresight and mature IT architectural judgment in anticipating and solving complex IT architectural problems.
