About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Unit Secretary is responsible for the clerical duties on the Nursing Unit.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of electrocardiographic monitoring program.
- Good writing and communication skills, including working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Certification level courses (ACLS, BLS, NRP, etc.) as per department specific competencies.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of unit secretarial experience preferred.
- Good writing and communication skills, including working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
