ER Tech - Emergency Department - FT - Mid/Evening Shift
About The Position

Website: https://www.stmarysregional.com Summary of Job: Assist in care of hospital patients under the direction of nursing and the medical staff. Position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care, and for promoting teamwork among co-workers.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Aide certification or certified/licensed Oklahoma EMT B required.
- Current BLS required.
- Minimum of 1 year (within the past 3 years) providing patient care required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- De-Escalation/TEAM training completed within 6 months of hire and maintained annually.
Responsibilities
- Follows infection control policies and universal precautions.
- Clean ED rooms between patients in a timely fashion.
- Assist with direct patient care.
- Accurately obtain and document vital signs.
- Transport patient to ancillary department or inpatient units in a timely fashion.
