About The Position

The Equity Administrator is responsible for managing the company’s global equity programs and ensuring accurate, compliant, and effective administration across all participating countries. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Accounting, Legal, and external vendors to oversee equity processes, deliver exceptional employee support, and maintain strict confidentiality while working with sensitive global employee data. The position requires strong technical expertise, global tax awareness, and the ability to work with a complex mobile workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years’ business experience.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across global contexts.
  • Prior knowledge of equity programs and Employee Stock Purchase Plans.
  • Knowledge of payroll and tax processing from an employee tax perspective (including global implications).
  • Understanding of accounting and tax processes.
  • Ability to manage sensitive, confidential global employee information.
  • Comfort interacting with global executive populations, including SLT-level employees.
  • Ability to manage external equity, tax, and legal vendors.
  • Knowledge of global mobility processes.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of global equity awards—including grants, vesting events, forfeitures, and related transactions—using internal tools and external stock plan administration systems.
  • Support administration of Performance Share Units (PSUs), Restricted Share Units (RSUs), and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
  • Ensure compliance with global tax regulations, securities laws (including SEC filings), GAAP/IFRS accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit audit documentation; support internal and external audit activities.
  • Coordinate payroll tax requirements worldwide in partnership with Payroll, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Maintain, validate, and reconcile participant and award data across multiple systems.
  • Manage complex global mobility-related equity taxation, including trailing liabilities and multi-jurisdiction coordination.
  • Build and deliver educational materials, instructions, and training related to equity programs.
  • Respond to complex employee inquiries, including support for executive-level participants up to the SLT.
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, HR, and external equity, tax, and legal vendors to ensure accurate and compliant operations.
  • Support compensation benchmarking, payroll processes, and global mobility tax implications across 40+ countries.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements, automation opportunities, and best practices to streamline global equity administration.
  • Improve user experience and operational efficiency across equity-related systems and workflows.
