Work on design, procurement, and sustainment of electrical/electronic automated equipment for manufacture and system functional testing. Provide support for manual test and production equipment as needed to sustain airplane production. Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Metrology. What you’ll do Gather requirements from stakeholders and define project scope. Evaluate make/buy alternatives and develop specifications and designs (CAD as required). Develop and debug equipment software and provide equipment documentation. Deliver real-time troubleshooting support for equipment issues that factory personnel can’t diagnose. Manage project budgets and timelines as required.
