This position reports to Team Leader – Equipment. Equipment Tech I will assist Equipment Tech II in manually installing and/or repairing heavy automobile lift equipment and other associated equipment. Employee is exposed to elements as is present in the environment, as most sites are not equipped with central heat or air conditioner. Starting Pay Rate $20/Hour - Pay to commensurate with experience. Plumbing Experience a Plus. The primary job functions include, but are not limited to: Installing new and used automobile lift equipment and making any associated repairs Installing and repairing lubrication dispensing equipment, which includes grease, oil, automatic transmission fluid and hydraulic oil tanks, pumps, reels, meters, piping and fluid inventory management systems Installing and repairing compressed air systems, which include compressors, dryers and plumbing systems Driving a company-owned service vehicle with toolboxes Repairing most equipment located in an auto repair facility Maintaining a satisfactory attendance record and appearance Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, work stations and shipping supply areas neat in the warehouse Complying with all OSHA and company safety procedures, rules, and regulations Use of tools, such as, wrenches, hammers, socket sets, screwdrivers, hammer drills, hydraulic hose press, pliers, vice grips, pipe wrenches, and pipe threaders Operating a forklift when required Performing other duties and assignments as directed by management
