About The Position

The Role: Our site in Colorado Springs Rockrimmon , CO is seeking an Equipment Specialist to join our team. This role is a critical part of our team that will support Micro contamination Con trol group . What You’ll Do : Engage with a variety of stakeholders including, Facilities, R&D, Maintenance and Reliability, Automation & Controls Engineering, Quality, EHS, Procurement and Operations personnel from global sites in the entire process from development to commissioning and qualification of equipment in Colorado Springs. Collaborate with cross functional team to analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in productivity, quality, safety, and ergonomics for equipment in Colorado Springs. Use a variety of inputs, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Maintenance and Reliability ( DfMR ), HAZOP, Risk assessment and FMEA to develop specification document for the new or improved equipment. Review equipment design, electrical diagram, P&ID, floor layout, user requirement specification (URS), Request for Pricing (RFP), Functional Acceptance Test (FAT ) and commission plan. Conduct Functional Acceptance Test (FAT) at vendor site and resolve all outstanding Punch List issues of . Co-work with various stakeholders for equipment move in, hookup, installation, and qualification. Develop and manage project plans to complete within schedule, budget, and quality constraints. Create and maintain all documentation for projects such as drawings, SOPs, specification, FAT, cost tracking, qualification procedure and data. Collaborate with engineers, Maintenance and Reliability personnel and Operations to define PM programs (including spares inventories, frequency and timing and etc. ) for new assets. Assist with classic New Product/Process Engineering responsibilities if the business dictates. This would include troubleshooting, failure analysis, SPC, Quality and Yield improvement. Provide guidance and support to teammates to complete all assigned task . What We Seek : A Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical / electrical/ electromechanical/ manufacturing/ automation engineering preferred, but related experience in lieu of education may also be considered . 4+ years of working experience in the engineering field to deploy and maintain equipment for a production environment. Experience in equipment design development, robotic and automation control system , HVAC, and project management. Experience working with industrial control system , PLC (i.e., Allen Bradly/Mitsubishi/Keyence etc ), and control devices such as motors, pumps, valves, heaters, oven and etc. Ability to design/read electrical schematics, P&IDs, control drawings, engineering drawings and safety standards such as OHSA, NFPA, UL and etc. Experience in SolidWorks/ AutoCad /CAD modeling tool is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project). Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills. Must have ability to reach out , communicate and influence personnel at all levels within the organization. Strong communication skills to coordinate equipment support and installation activities with internal and external team members . Positive mindset with creativity, good problem- solving and analytical abilities. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work and communicate status and changes to team members Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, wear PPE and working in clean room environment, as necessary. Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally to support of various engineering projects, assignment , and training. People and teamwork - You will be part of a team and collaborate well with individuals at all levels and functional groups within the organization while displaying a willingness to listen and learn from others. Requirements
