At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service.  In support of our customer, we are seeking senior-level Equipment Specialists, with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma Required
  • Four (8) years of progressive experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in life cycle logistics planning and sustainment management. Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities required.
  • Must have a SECRET security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with equipment installation procedures, provisioning publication projects, and technical requirements assessment.
  • Understanding of TFSMS, MICAPS, and GCSS-MC, as well as the Albany Publication website.
  • Working knowledge of the SCM Request process, Warranty Support procedures, Supply Instruction SI 10197B-12/1A, and the Logistics Support Analysis 036 format.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and developing specialized equipment-specific and supply chain information for lifecycle management decisions.
  • Publications and documentation support: Developing and delivering Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Instructions and PTD.
  • Provisioning support: Participating in Provisioning Conferences, assessing equipment component and sub-component installation procedures and provisioning publication projects, and identifying observations to enhance understanding of technical requirements and corrective actions.
  • SE Support: Supporting SE events and ECP reviews to ensure logistics concerns are addressed and integrated into program products.
  • Supply, Calibration, and Warranty support: Developing and maintaining itemized inventory and shipment databases up to the SECRET level for tracking GFP, including spare parts, shipments, OEM warranty coverage, and scheduled calibration. Ensuring timely calibration of fielded equipment and responding to all GCSS-MC Service Requests.
  • Conducting itemized inventory of all systems before fielding, documenting undelivered components.
  • Provides sustainment logistics management support to the Program Management Office and Logistics Management Specialist; this includes all phases of supportability analysis, support ability planning, and sustainment management. Support is required throughout the period of performance for each of the principal systems.
