The Equipment Specialist role, located in Orlando, FL, is crucial for maintaining the stability and performance of the company's tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure customer success. This position involves staying current with equipment knowledge, leading client demonstrations, performing regular maintenance and inspections, building strong client relationships, contributing to new equipment design and development, serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries, managing customer account information, and assisting the Manager with project planning, budgets, and schedules, as well as supporting the sales team in processing customer orders.

Requirements

  • An associate degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of technical maintenance experience
  • Basic understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, our equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about company equipment and its technical and functional characteristics.
  • Lead equipment demonstrations for clients
  • Calibrate and conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment functions efficiently, and replace defective parts as necessary
  • Build positive, long-term relationships with clients
  • Assist in the design and development of new equipment, recommending improvements to improve operational efficiency.
  • Act as primary contact for customer queries and concerns.
  • Maintain a database of current and potential customer account information.
  • Assist the Manager in developing the project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Work with the sales team to process customer orders on time.
  • Maintain documentation of all sales activity and orders.
