About The Position

Join our team as a Service Technician, providing repair service for equipment at practitioners' locations under the guidance of a Lead Technician or District Service Manager. Collaborate closely with skilled technicians and supervisors to enhance your customer service skills, familiarize yourself with our support tools, and improve your troubleshooting techniques and product knowledge. This role will contribute significantly to service success, enhancing customer satisfaction, fostering customer loyalty, and boosting profitability.

Requirements

  • Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of field service experience, demonstrating proficiency, a basic mechanical background, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Offer repair services to customers in a respectful and professional manner. You may also occasionally provide basic installation services as needed.
  • Ensure you have the necessary tools for carrying out installation and repair services efficiently.
  • Complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator.
  • Follow systematic troubleshooting procedures to diagnose technical errors and devise appropriate solutions.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations for a seamless customer experience.
  • Manage and maintain proper inventory levels in the service vehicle.
  • Generate detailed and timely service reports.
  • Attend all mandatory training, including Henry Schein Dental Career Development training and specific manufacturer technical training.
  • Adhere to all OSHA regulations as outlined in the OSHA manual and training. Ensure the maintenance and use of personal protective equipment when needed.
  • Communicate progress updates promptly to all Team Members and HUB dispatchers.
  • Review completed work orders with the customer or a responsible staff member before leaving the site, including time spent, work done, parts replaced, and parts to be ordered. All work orders should be closed daily and submitted for billing.
  • Submit all job-related paperwork within the specified timeframes, including FDA Forms, expense reports, and any other required documents.
  • Comply with all Fleet Management Policy terms, including maintenance and accident management policies.
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as required.
