Hillyard is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead and support our Equipment Service team across OH, KY, and IN — someone who can balance technical expertise, people leadership, and operational excellence . This role is ideal for a technically skilled supervisor who enjoys staying close to the work while guiding a team toward success. What You’ll Do Lead, coach, and develop Service Technicians — providing real-time feedback and support to strengthen performance and confidence Partner with technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment challenges Drive productivity and efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve workflows and service execution Manage daily service activity, performance expectations, and customer satisfaction outcomes Maintain strong relationships with vendors, freight partners, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly Investigate and resolve technician inventory discrepancies Support ongoing technician training, skill development, and quality improvement initiatives Utilize communication tools and reporting to stay connected, informed, and proactive What Makes You Successful Natural leader who enjoys mentoring, coaching, and developing others Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability Comfortable balancing field support, team leadership, and administrative responsibilities Confident communicator who builds trust with technicians, customers, and partners Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and improve processes Qualifications Associate degree or college coursework preferred 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a service, technical, or mechanical environment 2–4 years of hands-on mechanical/electrical experience strongly preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Teams, Planner, SharePoint, and Power BI Why Join Us Hillyard is a family-owned company with over a century of stability and growth , committed to creating cleaner, safer, healthier environments while investing in the people who make that mission possible. Requirements
