About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team in Hutto, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to support construction, landscaping, or other operational projects. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.
• Valid equipment operator certifications or licenses preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and safety instructions.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and equipment status.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
