About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator’s Assistant to support press and production operations. This role assists the primary operator by loading materials, packaging finished product, catching materials off equipment, and helping ensure smooth workflow throughout the production process.

Requirements

Ability to stand, lift, bend, and flex for a full shift
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Frequently required to move throughout the facility
Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25+ pounds
Constant interaction with production equipment and materials

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup of equipment to required specifications
Support operation of machinery to produce high-quality product in a productive manner
Load materials and remove finished product from equipment
Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic maintenance
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Accurately complete daily production sheets and properly log production information and materials into the Hagen system
