Equipment Operator / Plant Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate mobile and plant equipment safely and efficiently to support production needs. Monitor plant processes and adjust controls to maintain product quality and flow. Conduct routine inspections, perform basic maintenance, and report equipment issues promptly. Assist with material handling, loading, stockpiling, and housekeeping tasks. Follow all safety procedures and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Requirements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and plant systems with attention to detail and safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability to adapt to changing plant conditions.
- Reliable attendance, professionalism, and commitment to team success.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and operational technologies.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Must meet all site-specific safety and compliance requirements throughout employment.
