About The Position

Drive equipment to job sites and Operate ClO2 generation equipment. Assist in managing team members assigned to a project, project schedules, and equipment tasking. Provide support services and mentorship to other team members. Comply with Aegis Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Operating Guidelines, and all Safety Training.

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, long hours (12+), and lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Physical demands of the position include sitting, standing, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking and.
  • Ability to work overtime and various schedules as needed with occasional overnight travel

  • Be prepared. If assigned equipment, tooling, or personal protective equipment, maintain accountability of items and have them with you ready to go to work.
  • Must be able to complete required data entry accurately as it pertains to job and event completion.
  • Operate a chlorine dioxide generator to apply generated chlorine dioxide to treat water in a surface water handling facility (Pond), Frac tanks, Produced Water facility, or Frac on the Fly “FoF” operation. Primary treatment will be for well treatment or Production Enhancement operations.
  • Perform duties as the lead operator or Mentor onsite.
  • Great Communication with clients and other supporting cast in setting up, running, reporting, and completing jobs.
  • Scheduling personnel and equipment for projects when requested by operations.
  • Organize and participate in Pre-job planning calls with clients and operational personnel to plan deployment of personnel and equipment.
  • Verify pre-job checklists and staging equipment setup, validate stocked supplies, ensure paperwork is current and correct, enforce checklists being completed and all required forms are properly submitted for accountability.
  • Delegate job tasking to field personnel around shop, ensure all field personnel are adequately employed, trained, or tasked.
  • Help in making sure all employees are current and stay current with all training, classes, and certifications.
  • Contribute to monthly safety training – get involved in the growth of Sabre teams.
  • Makes routine visits and safety observations on site or on other personnel to ensure standards are being accomplished.
  • Assist in logistic accountability to make sure all employees have what is always needed to run and complete a job, chemicals, supplies and support.
  • Assist the management team in controlling expenses and profit and loss within the region – as the primary effort in the field.
  • Maintain the field procedures in place and build on services provided.
  • Make sure all field tickets, BOL’s, chemical inventory sheets, and other paperwork are accurate and turned in promptly to the correct personnel.
  • Perform safety evaluations on team members and training personnel as requested.
  • Have a full understanding of the operations, equipment capabilities, scheduling, logistical support, DOT regulations, chain of command, reporting and administrative documentation.
  • Perform routine counseling to other technicians and guide them through problem solving evaluations, repairs, and application process.
  • Drive vehicles and loads authorized by licensing/endorsements. Special attention must be given to ensuring that the operator/driver operates specifically in accordance with DOT rules and regulations.
  • Follow Safe Driving Practices Complete Pre and Post Trip Inspection on vehicle and trailer loads.
  • Report all maintenance issues or deficiencies identified during inspection or during operation.
  • No Aegis chemicals, whether hazardous or non-hazardous, shall be authorized to be hauled or carried for this position.
  • Responsible for requesting oversized/overweight permits from Aegis DOT department if/when necessary to comply with FMCSA and/or state/county requirements. Ask for assistance within the Aegis DOT department if needed.
  • Follow ELD procedure to properly track driving hours and hours worked.
