Equipment Operator II - Sanitation
About The Position
The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Equipment Operator II in the Sanitation Department. The incumbent performs skilled work in safely operating front-end loading sanitation equipment and/or over-the-road sanitation tractor-trailer equipment either on a commercial sanitation route or between the sanitary landfill and the transfer station. High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in the operation of a front-end packer and/or experience in the operation of a tractor-trailer tandem and backhoe required. Must possess a valid Oklahoma Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. Employee must meet City insurance standards. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. Starting Salary: $20.9631/hr. w/Benefits. Requirements
