Equipment Operator II - Cemetery, Structures & Grounds

About The Position
Skilled manual work in the operation of specialized and heavy equipment and other public works vehicles and in performing construction, internment, and maintenance activities; all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma and three years experience in public works construction and maintenance activities including the operation of heavy and specialized equipment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CDL Class A unrestricted drivers license required.
- Massachusetts Class 2A, 1C and 4G Hoisting Licenses.
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques.
- Responsible for observing required safety precautions.
- Knowledge of cemetery layout and lot locations.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions.
- Ability to locate plots on cemetery maps using electric locating devices, probes and measuring devices.
- Demonstrated skill in operating and maintaining all types of special and heavy equipment and trucks.
