About The Position
Skilled manual work in the operation of specialized and heavy equipment and other public works vehicles and in performing construction and maintenance activities; all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma and three years of experience in public works construction and maintenance activities including the operation of heavy equipment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Massachusetts CDL Class A Unrestricted drivers license with air brake and tanker endorsements.
- Massachusetts Hydraulic Hoisting 2A and 1C license required.
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions.
- Demonstrated skill in operating and maintaining all types of special and heavy equipment and trucks.
Nice To Haves
- Massachusetts Class 4G Hoisting License preferred.
