In this role, you will support production operations by preparing and operating printing press equipment while ensuring quality standards and production schedules are met.   • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to follow job tickets and production instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to maintain consistent quality while meeting production expectations
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move throughout the facility
  • Regularly moves materials including lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying items up to 25 pounds or more

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency
  • Check paper for correct type, size, color, and quantity
  • Check plates to ensure the correct format is being used
  • Visually inspect forms during production runs to maintain quality standards
  • Coordinate with the production team to prioritize jobs and adjust workflows when deadlines or priorities change
  • Maintain knowledge of safety requirements related to equipment and job functions
