About The Position

The Equipment Mover is responsible for delivery, set-up, moving or exchanging cold drink equipment in customer accounts and other outlets. Responsible for checking in and out equipment as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year of work experience.
Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and/or have a valid DOT medical card.
Must have a valid CDL driving license with current vehicle liability insurance and a clean driving record within MVR policy guidelines. (Class A CDL preferred)
Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience of moving equipment, repairing, and distributing vending equipment preferred.
Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
Prior experience using a forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver, exchange, and move cold drink equipment.
Complete safety vehicle reports daily.
Load and unload cold drink equipment for delivery and/or return. Responsible for checking in and out equipment as needed.
Communicate with dispatchers, customers and supervisors regarding delivery and pick-up status.
Set coolers, which involves setting shelves, the temperature and checking refrigeration functionality.
Educate the customer on important aspects with the operation of the equipment.
Complies with safety standards: maintains safe work area, complies with safety standards, completes daily stretches and assigned safety training, and utilizes all PPE (personal protective equipment).
