About The Position

The Equipment Management Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Equipment Management Services department, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and alignment with Gregory Poole’s digital connectivity initiatives. This role includes supervising technical staff, managing customer interactions, and supporting administrative processes.

Requirements

  • A two-year business or management degree, or a four-year Bachelor of Science or Business Management degree preferred, or a high school graduate with at least six years of experience in a similar work environment plus group leader experience.
  • Four years of working experience in a similar customer service-related position.
  • Must be able to work for long periods while seated.
  • Must have the ability to clearly communicate with customers on the phone or in person.
  • Good customer relations are a must.
  • Must have basic PC experience with keyboard and word processing software (preferably Microsoft).

  • Basic mechanical, technology, and product knowledge are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to machine repair and digital technology services
  • Establish job priorities and schedule assignments for Digital Technicians
  • Monitor repair schedules and communicate timelines, changes, and additional service needs
  • Resolve customer service issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction
  • Act as liaison between Technology Development, Product Support, Sales, Field Service, Parts, CVA PM, and SOS Lab
  • Lead and dispatch Digital Field Service personnel, Technical Support Specialists, and Condition Monitoring Analysts
  • Coordinate daily workloads to ensure efficient resource utilization and timely service delivery
  • Support and guide the Condition Monitoring group under management direction
  • Open, maintain, and close service calls in accordance with company policies
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
  • Prepare reports, quotes, and customer correspondence
  • Administer ELD devices for the corporate fleet including compliance tracking and reporting
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for direct reports
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements
