Jabil is looking to hire an Equipment Maintenance Technician to work in Devens, MA. The schedule for this position is 7pm-7am working Monday/Tuesday, off Wednesday/Thursday, work Friday/Saturday/Sunday, off Monday/Tuesday, work Wednesday/Thursday, off Friday/Saturday/Sunday of the following week. Shift differential offered! How will you make an impact? As a Maintenance Technician with Jabil, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs on equipment, fixtures, and systems, and duties include troubleshooting, conducting inspections, and keeping maintenance records.

Requirements

  • High School Education Required; Associates Degree in Electronics preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience doing Equipment Maintenance in a Manufacturing environment preferred OR an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
  • Self-Motivated, willingness to proactively look for issues on the machines rather than waiting for someone to come to them.
  • Understanding of Safety Practices and Requirements.
  • Experience using hand tools and leveling instruments.
  • Knowledge of torque specifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in Electronics preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience doing Equipment Maintenance in a Manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience in Servo Positioning Theory or equivalent discipline preferred.
  • Understanding of electronic color codes and other component value markings is preferred.
  • Self-Motivated, willingness to proactively look for issues on the machines rather than waiting for someone to come to them.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Performs feeder maintenance, repair and data tracking.
  • May provide assistance in the following areas:
  • Troubleshoot to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Dismantle, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manual, rough sketches or drawings.
  • Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
