How Will You Make an Impact? As an Equipment Maintenance Technician II at our Monument, CO facility, you will play a key role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and safety of manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic systems—particularly CNC equipment—to minimize downtime and support efficient production. Your technical expertise and problem‑solving skills will directly contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement. Schedule: 3rd Shift Location: On‑site at our Monument, CO facility.

Requirements

  • Technical training or equivalent hands‑on experience in equipment or machine maintenance preferred.
  • Proven experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery required.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Demonstrated independent problem‑solving ability and proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Familiarity with various CNC machine platforms and operating principles.
  • Knowledge of machine safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong adaptability and ability to learn new equipment and technologies quickly.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic equipment issues to identify root causes.
  • Execute timely and effective repairs, replacing components and restoring equipment to full functionality.
  • Independently resolve complex equipment failures using structured troubleshooting and problem‑solving techniques.
  • Follow all machine safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment performance needs and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize impact.
  • Document all maintenance, diagnostics, and repair activities accurately and completely.
  • Adapt to new technologies, equipment designs, and maintenance methods through continuous learning.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
