About The Position

Paradise Locker Meats is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability in a fast-paced meat processing and food production facility. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems. This is a hands-on position requiring strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a USDA-inspected production environment.

Requirements

2+ years of industrial or plant maintenance experience or less experience with a technical school degree.
Mechanical troubleshooting ability
Working knowledge of electrical systems and controls
Experience with pneumatic systems
Ability to read schematics
Familiarity with OSHA safety practices
Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory tracking)

Nice To Haves

Food processing or meat plant experience
Welding or fabrication skills
Experience with meat processing or packaging equipment

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on processing and packaging equipment
Diagnose and repair: Motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors
Vacuum pumps and processing equipment
Pneumatic systems (air lines, cylinders, regulators, solenoids)
Basic electrical controls (contactors, relays, overloads, switches)
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
Assist with equipment installs, upgrades, and modifications
Maintain facility systems and perform building maintenance as needed
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams
Communicate directly with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and service technicians to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and coordinate repairs for maintenance issues
Maintain maintenance logs, inventory tracking, and parts organization
Follow OSHA and LOTO safety procedures
