This role is a 12-hour rotating Night Shift, 2-2-3 Continental Shift, 645pm to 7am JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and facility systems to ensure continuous operation during night shifts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment (plastics/injection molding experience highly desired).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, including schematics, PLC troubleshooting (basic understanding), and motor controls.
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work night shifts and occasional weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, automated assembly equipment, and other production machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems failures.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment issues, utilizing schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facility infrastructure, identifying and addressing potential problems.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, in a CMMS system.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely resolution to minimize production interruptions.
