Department Overview The Equipment Engineering team supports the Operations team by ensuring manufacturing equipment is properly maintained, optimized for performance, and aligned with production goals. They troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and collaborate on process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Requirements

  • Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027

  • Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.),

  • Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Work with manufacturing and maintenance teams to improve processes, design tooling, fixtures, calibrations, and test processes for production equipment.
  • Assist engineers in research, root cause and solutions in manufacturing equipment issues.
  • Assist with design, programming test and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, SCADA and Robotics systems.
  • Participate in design reviews with engineering team.
  • Create engineering drawings and bill of materials for design projects.
  • Work with outside suppliers in manufacturing finished designs.
  • Communicate with Executives, Managers, and co-workers in formal and informal settings.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and correct machine issues.
