The Equipment Detailer is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing company‑owned and customer equipment to ensure it is safe, professional in appearance, and ready for delivery, rental, service, or sale. This role plays a critical part in supporting service operations, equipment readiness, and the overall customer experience by maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work safely in wet, muddy, greasy, and outdoor environments.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment fundamentals.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs and climb on/off equipment.
  • Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, wash, and detail company and customer equipment using approved cleaning methods, chemicals, and high‑pressure washing equipment.
  • Prepare machinery and components for delivery, rental, sale, demo, or service, ensuring equipment is presented in customer‑ready condition.
  • Safely operate, move, stage, and park equipment in shop, yard, and wash bay areas in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections of equipment during cleaning and report damage, leaks, or concerns to management or service technicians.
  • Support the service department by assisting with equipment flow, turnaround timing, and general shop or yard housekeeping as needed.
