About The Position

The Equipment and Materials Driver is responsible for safely transporting electrical materials to and from warehouse, suppliers, and job locations.

Requirements

• In addition to being punctual, self-motivated, detail oriented, and unwilling to accept second-best, you will
• Have at least six months experience driving/transporting materials
• Have experience pulling trailers
• Be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
• Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Exercise independent judgment and be motivated to grow and develop professionally
• Be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
• Be physically able to raise, lower, or move objects weighing 50-150 pounds

Responsibilities

• Working in a TEAM environment with the Warehouse Manager
• Safely perform and direct the loading and unloading of trucks
• Transport electrical materials in a safe, responsible manner
• Work with all team members to accomplish the daily shipping schedule
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and communicate any problems and standard maintenance with your vehicle
• Understand and complete the log book
• Submit monthly vehicle reports to fleet
• Coordinate jobsite clean offs with the Warehouse Manager and Field Supervisors
• Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to various office and warehouse/yard projects
